Answer: The Matter Worklist is simply your most recently-accessed workspaces. As FileSite displays it in Outlook, these workspaces are sorted alphabetically by name.
How many workspaces are listed?
Answer: By default, there are ten workspaces listed here. You can change how many are visible, on a person-by-person basis, through the options in the FileSite menu, or by setting the value directly in the following registry key:
Hive | HKEY_CURRENT_USER |
Key path | SoftwareInterwovenWorkSite8.0CommonAdvanced Options |
Value name | MaximumMatterWorklistItems |
Value type | REG_DWORD |
Value data | 0×14 (20) |
How do you delete entries from Recent Matters?
Answer: there’s no end-user way to do this directly. Activity in other matters will cause the older activity to be pushed off the list. If you need to eliminate an entry from the list, you can:
- Reduce the number of items in your worklist so that the offending workspace does not appear – (yes, it’s a simplistic workaround, but you could do it that way). This does not truncate the stored list.
- Go visit your own My Matters or Favourites and open content from older workspaces until the offending workspace gets pushed off your list. This only works if your WorkList is shorter than those other two combined.
- Go visit someone else’s My Matters and open workspaces and documents until the offending workspace gets pushed off your list. This presumes you’re happier to see their irrelevant workspaces in place of the one you wish to eliminate.
